I'm Recruiting! Its about time the art world had a movement. No necessity for reason. Whimsical, Blunt, sometimes Borderline Masochistic. Work with a variety of images that are intended to draw you in, slap you around and make you feel Perplexed. Bright bold colors and dreamlike occurrences of obscureness. With the ‘WHY’ or ‘WHATS GONNA HAPPEN’ motif. Does it make you laugh? You feel something don't you! Besides...Who the hell wants to look at anymore prairies or boats. I sure don't. Bruce Shields was born and raised in Aroostook County Maine. Fort Fairfield to be exact. He attended college at The University of Maines (Yes, plural...Augusta, Southern Maine, and Presque Isle) and Graduated with a degree in VisuaL aRT. He moved to Southern Maine around 2ooo were he lives with his family. He's participated in several shows and is still painting with a passion and a message.
